PENANG Chinese Chamber of Commerce (PCCC) has called for a reduction in personal and company taxes to stimulate the economy which is badly hit by the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

“Corporate taxes should also be reduced for large, small and medium enterprises by at least 2% to help them overcome this difficult period, ” said Hong when officiating PCCC’s 2020 Annual General Meeting on Friday.“We are hopeful that Budget 2021 to be tabled in November will bring good news to this effect and help the market and the people to attract foreign investments and create a pro-business environment, ” he said.
